||Bruce Alexander's recent stage credits include Kent in King Lear at Shakespeare's Globe, The Tempest at the Almeida Theatre, and Saint Joan at Birmingham Rep. He has appeared extensively for the Royal Shakespeare Company in plays including All's Well That Ends Well, The Duchess of Malfi, Cymbeline, The Dillen, Troilus and Cressida, Mother Courage, Three Sisters, Volpone, The Taming of the Shrew, and Twelfth Night, working with directors such as Barry Kyle, Jonathan Miller, Howard Davies, and Adrian Noble. He was also a member of the Joint Stock Theatre Co. and has performed extensively in London's West End and at The Royal Court. His film credits include A Christmas Carol, Ladybird Ladybird, Nostradamus, Century, Bye Bye Baby, and Giro City. His television credits include roles in A Touch of Frost (regularly seen on A&E, in which he plays Superintendent Mullett), Berkeley Square, The Innocents, Brookside, Casualty, The Bill, Poirot, Keeping Up Appearances, South of the Border, Elizabeth Alone, and The Price, among many others. He has worked often for BBC Radio and recorded several audio books. He is an Associate Director of Actors From The London Stage and has appeared with the company in A Midsummer Night's Dream and in the title role of their most recent production of Macbeth.
