Arvin Brown is an award-winning theatre, opera, television and film director. His credits include the feature film Conquistadora; the documentary film Declaration of Independence; films for television and television series, such as The Gin Game for PBS, Open House, Just Ask My Children, The Inspector General, Kevin Hill, Everwood, The Agency, Crossing Jordan, Ed, Roswell, Once and Again, Judging Amy, Any Day Now, Dawson's Creek, Ally McBeal, The Practice, Chicago Hope, Party of Five, and Picket Fences; and more than 16 productions on the Broadway stage. For 30 years, Arvin Brown was the Artistic Director of the Tony Award-winning Long Wharf Theatre, one of the country's most distinguished regional theatres. He has been honored as 1 of 21 of the century's "most influential and innovative directors," along with such artists as Mike Nichols, Michael Bennett, Bob Fosse, and Trevor Nunn. |
