Margaret Kemp's career is a balance of creative endeavors that include performing, writing, painting and teaching.
Margaret is a California-based native of Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Performance Studies from Northwestern and an M.F.A. in Classical Theatre from Washington, D.C.'s Shakespeare Theatre. Her performing career has spanned 15 years and her credits include her currently touring solo performance Creative Instructions, as well as appearances at Arena Stage, South Coast Rep, Mark Taper Forum, Ensemble Theatre Company, Yale Rep, Will and Company, Shakespeare Theatre, Steppenwolf, and Pear Theatre (Antibes, France). She has also appeared in television and film on such programs as Commander in Chief, In Justice, Orlando Jones Show, Chicago Hope, Shangri-La Cafe, and Fraud.
While in graduate school Margaret discovered a passion for the field of voice training. This passion put her on the path to earn Certification as a Fitzmaurice Voicework Associate. In addition to teaching privately, Margaret is an adjunct instructor at California State University at Fullerton.
