Vivien Heilbron, U.K. Coordinator
As the U.K. Coordinator for the Lab, Vivien Heilbron acts as a liaison with professional artists from the United Kingdom. Ms. Heilbron trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She has played leading roles in classical and contemporary plays in major theatres throughout Britain, including Olivia in Twelfth Night (Dundee Rep), and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Miranda in The Tempest, Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream (all for Salisbury Playhouse). Other roles include Mrs. Prest in The Aspern Papers, Valyusha in Cerceau, Victoria in Portrait of a Queen, Childie in Killing of Sister George, Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, Emily in Our Town, Alithea in The Country Wife, Marianne in The Miser, Annie in A Lovely Day Tomorrow and Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire. Ms. Heilbron played opposite Michael Caine in the film Kidnapped and also appeared in Mysteries, a Dutch film with Rutger Hauer. Her extensive television credits include The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, and The House of Eliott, among others, and she has had leading roles in several Masterpiece Theatre series, including Sheila in The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club and Rachel in The Moonstone, for which she received an Emmy nomination for Best Leading Actress. Ms. Heilbron is an Associate Director of Actors From the London Stage and has previously toured with them in Twelfth Night, The Winter's Tale, King Lear, and All's Well That Ends Well.
